A Master of Gender Studies mainly by research will be offered by the University’s Department of Gender Studies in October.
The master’s programme may be undertaken on a full-time (three semester) or part-time (three year), day or evening basis.
Students will be able to work directly with a supervisor chosen from the academic staff of the department – Marceline Naudi, JosAnn Cutajar or Brenda Murphy.
Since the master’s is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary it is of potential interest to students from a broad range of disciplines. Graduates from the programme will return to their discipline with a solid understanding of how gender plays a significant and mainstreamed role in their area.
Applications are to be received by July 24, and may be submitted online www.um.edu.mt/registrar/prospective/applyonline.
Further course details may be found at www.um.edu.mt/socialwellbeing/overview/PMGDSFTR4-2014-5-O.
