A man was injured when a Ford Escort overturned on St Andrew's Road between Swieqi and Pembroke this morning.

The incident happened at about 5.30am as the car was being driven towards Pembroke, just past the Paceville traffic lights.

The car was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Mellieha, who was accompanied by another man, 20, also from Mellieha.
