The majority of inspections of fields following complaints of the use of liquid manure made resulted positive and the inconvenience was removed, according to information given in Parliament this evening.
Nationalist MP Censu Galea asked the Minister of Health and Energy whether officials had made inspections on the basis of allegations of the use of liquid manure in fields as reported in the media.
The minister, Konrad Mizzi, said that since 2012 officials within the Environmental Health Directorate made the following inspections:
