ATTARD. On April 12, at Gozo General Hospital, ĠUŻEPPI of Għajnsielem (ex-Secretary, St Joseph Band Club, Għajnsielem), aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters, Fr Tarċisju, rector of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, Sr Bernardette of the Augustinian Sisters of Għajnsielem, Loreta, Karmnu, widower of Marija, Ġorġ, Manuel and his wife Ersilia and Mawru, his nephews and nieces Sonia, Richard, Josef, Greg, Rodny, Joseph and Mario, his cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital today at 3.15pm for De Chambrai Street from where a cortège proceeds to Għajnsielem parish church accompanied by St Joseph Band and the parish clergy. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għajnsielem cemetery.
DOWLING. On April 12, MARITA, passed away peacefully at the age of 71, after a long illness. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Edith Gill and family, her brother Harald and family, other relatives and friends in Malta. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
GATT. On April 14, VICTORIA, née Bonello, widow of Tony, passed away suddenly, aged 68. She leaves to mourn her loss her dearest son Colin, her brothers Tony and his wife Gladys and Frank and his wife Helga, her sisters Agnes, widow of John Delia and Joyce, wife of Tony Cachia, her in-laws Joe and his wife Lina, Mary, widow of Lino Pace, Doris and Pauline, wife of Joe Sciberras, nephews and nieces, relatives, the Micallef family and other friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.15pm for the church of the Holy Cross, Capuchins Friary, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
