Opposition Home Affairs spokes-man Jason Azzopardi yesterday called a quorum during question time in Parliament, in protest at what he called “the government’s lack of transparency” in answers to a number of PQs.

Parliamentary Secretary Michael Falzon repeatedly told Dr Azzopardi that the law precluded him from giving the information being asked for in the PQs.

The sitting was suspended for a few minutes but then resumed.
