A ceramic mural, entitled Sbuħija Fina u Madwarna, was unveiled at St Paul’s Missionary College Junior School this morning to commemorate its first 300 boys since its opening in 2011.

The 300 boys bring the student body to completion and as from September, the Junior 6 students will transfer from the Junior to the senior school of the same college.

For the mural, a grant was obtained from the Kreattiv and the school went into partnership with Alka Ceramics to create it.

The project was initiative during the last scholastic year. All 300 students were invited to take a look at themselves and the beauty of nature, and use white clay to create a tile expressing such beauty.

The ceramic tiles were assembled on wooden panels, which panels were then attached to the wall of one of the school’s main corridors. The gardening group embellished the area further by planting some indoor plants.
