CARUANA. In celebration of the life of JOSEPH FRANCIS, who passed peacefully away on December 20, aged 79. Beloved husband of Catherine (née Agius) and father of Mirabel, Paul, Godwin, Leslie and Elaine. Mass will be said tomorrow at 9am at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara. CASSAR. On December 21, at her residence, FILIPPA, 95, widow of Ġużeppi (In-Nifs), passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Barbara, Harry and his wife Tessie, David and his wife Polly, Kathleen and her husband Rick Park, Publius and his wife Kate, Alice and Michael, Charles, Grace and her husband Jan Remen, Michael and his wife Suzanne, Adriana widow of her brother Carmelo, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence tomorrow at 8.45am for St Mary’s parish church, Mqabba, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Mqabba cemetry. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
