• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) will hold a charity sale at the football ground near the main car park in Victoria today, from 8am to 1pm. The price is €10 for each car space, payable on the day.
• A book and religious items fair by Preca Library will be held at the Seminary in Victoria today from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
• A morning of recollection for men is being held in Għarb parish hall today from 9 to 11.30am (including Mass). There will also be the opportunity to visit the parish museum.
• A blood donation session will be held at Dar San Pietru u San Pawl, next to Mnarja Band Club, today from 8.30am to 1pm.
• Today, Nadur parish will welcome Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, who will preside over the 9.30am Mass, on the occasion of the celebration of the feast of St Coronatus. From 4.30pm onwards, a procession will go round the village streets, accompanied by the Mnarja Band.
• Star Trek into Darkness will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.
• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.
• The traditional St Martin’s dinner in aid of the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria, will be held at the Seminary on Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are available from the Seminary by calling 2155 6479 or from the Seminary dames.
• A Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at Independence Square, Victoria, tomorrow at 10.30am.
• Qala parish will hold a Vocational Week, with the theme Duqu u Taraw kemm hu Tajjeb il-Mulej at the parish, from November 15 to 22.
• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at the Rotunda church, Xewkija, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
• The Bethel Charismatic Group will organise a prayer meeting at the MAS headquarters in Victoria on Saturday at 7pm.

• A car and military history display called the Classic and Military Vehicles Show will be taking place in Nadur Square, next Sunday, between 9am and 2pm. The Battlefront Living History Group Malta will be present at the event, displaying antique and rare military vehicles from World War II.
• Alda Bugeja is organising A Glimpse of Wool – a pratical demonstration by expert weavers of the typical Gozitan loom and art of weaving, Macramé and Kumihimo, at Ir-Rokna tal-Kreattività, 8, Għarb Street, Għarb. It will include a display of Christmas artefacts and a documentary on this ancient art. It will be held on Friday from 4 to 7pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm and from 4 to 7pm. Entrance is free.
