Sub sandwich lovers who like to ‘eat fresh’ will soon have another Subway restaurant to enjoy when the chain opens its fourth location in Msida.

The new restaurant will be located close to the University. The franchise has been present in Malta for 18 months, with outlets in Gżira, Paceville and Valletta.

The new restaurant should be open in the first two weeks of October, said operations manager Jonathan Grima.

“Our idea is to promote healthy eating, which is why we thought it would be ideal to open an outlet close to the University campus. Most of our sandwiches contain less than six grammes of fat,” Mr Grima said.

With more than 39,000 locations in 102 countries, the Subway brand is the world’s largest submarine sandwich franchise, and has become a leader in the international development of the quick-service restaurant industry.
