Jura Prophecy – the most heavily peated malt in the Jura range – has been awarded the Best in Class gold medal at this year’s prestigious International Spirits Challenge in the UK.

Whyte & Mackay (30 years old), the Dalmore Ceti and Glayva liqueur were also awarded gold medals by an experienced panel of specialist judges, who tasted over 1,000 entries from across the globe.

The recently released Jura 30 Year Old and Jura 1977 were both awarded platinum medals, with scores of 97/100 and 99/100 respectively at the Beverage Testing Institute awards.

Master distiller Richard Paterson said: “To be awarded platinum and best in class medals at these two highly respected and influential spirits competitions is really a great achievement for the company and all those people who work tirelessly to create and promote these very special products.”

Jura whisky is imported by Farsons Beverage Imports Company Limited, a member of the Farsons Group.
