Seven girls from St Margaret College’s Girls’ Secondary, Żejtun, and three boys from its Boys’ Secondary, Verdala, recently presented a play in German at the Transit Festival in Tordera, Catalonia, Spain. Other students of German from Spain, France, Portugal and Belgium also took part. The Maltese students’ play was about irregular immigrants who escape from Africa and survive the perils of the desert and the sea to arrive in Malta. The Maltese group’s participation was possible following the college’s recent nomination as a PASCH school in Malta. Photo shows the students with their teachers at Barcelona airport.
