Air Malta said today it had completed its sale of Flyaway Tours to United Travel of Sliema.
It did not reveal the price.
The two companies will be working together to ensure a seamless transition. All existing passenger and trade bookings will be honoured.
Peter Davies, the airline's CEO, said the sale followed other successful corporate transactions which the airline was spearheading to restructure its operations.
"Other Air Malta restructuring projects are positively moving forward. We have followed a robust and rigorous process of competitive bidding, to ensure the highest levels of corporate governance whilst maximising value for Air Malta. We
look forward to an excellent ongoing partnership with Flyaway Tours."
