Among the new candidates approved by the Labour Party for the general and local council elections is Stephen Sultana, who is well known among St Venera residents. He has served as a councillor for the last 13 years, and was mayor between 2005 and 2008.

Mr Sultana has many good qualities: he is a good listener, open to people’s needs, approachable, and a man of integrity. His candidacy is good news for St Venera Labour supporters and to others to whom he always gave a helping hand when they needed it.
