Chinese Ambassador to Malta Cai Jinbiao recently visited the University and met University rector Juanito Camilleri.
The two expressed their confidence that following the signing of an agreement for the mutual recognition of qualifications between Malta and China, both countries will benefit from a greater exchange of students and graduates, which in turn would lead to better cultural understanding and stronger academic and economic ties.
The ambassador said Malta was one of the best destinations for Chinese students and with the necessary promotion and support, Chinese students would certainly consider furthering their studies in Malta.
