Ten students of the Dance College Studios will be performing at the annual show of the Nene Valley Dance Academy in Corby, England on November 11.

The Dance College Studios of Msida has just held its annual show, which had an emotional finale when Amy Spiteri, one of the budding teachers at the college, spoke of her mum, a renowned dancer, on the 10th anniversary of her death. Ms Spiteri said she had been dancing with Alicia Joy Dancers since she was four.

“This year’s show, called Dance Forever, is special for me. It will be 10 years, this month, since my mum, Alicia Joy, passed away... Mum, I love you forever and I will dance forever,” the 19-year-old said.

The evening included a medley of rock ‘n’ roll, street dance, freestyle, modern and hip-hop.

College principal Kim Schembri presented awards to students who registered outstanding improvement during the year.
