We have now all heard about London’s garbage being dumped in Malta but what is amazing is that immediately after the news hit the media that Mayor Boris Johnson had dumped the bendy buses on the streets of Malta, the ministry responsible for public transport issued a rebuttal statement that they were doing fine because they carry more passengers in one pick-up, so do the work of four buses.

Now isn’t that amazing? A bendy bus does the work of four regular buses and Arriva customers’ main complaint is that they have to wait four times as long for a bus compared to the old buses. How’s that for shooting yourself in the foot?
