The House of Representatives meets again this evening after the summer recess that lasted over two and a half months.

On the agenda of today’s sitting are three motions and 14 Bills, including a Private Member’s Bill moved by Franco Debono on the judiciary sector.

It is also likely that the House will pay tribute to former Prime Minister and Labour leader Dom Mintoff, who passed away on August 20 at the age of 96.

Parliament last met on July 10. The House Business Committee is also expected to meet this evening.
