Team 1868 wins Novices Cup

The Novices Cup contest between Team 1868 and MPC Academy was played recently at Marsa. The honour went to Team 1868, captained by Chris Delia, who won the match 8-3. Matthew Grech was named best player of the final and grey pony Gramilla, owned by Delia, the horse that produced the best performance. Kenneth Vella, director of the Kunsill Malti għall-iSport, presented the trophies to the winners.
