A sunset tour of the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park is being organised by Heritage Malta on Saturday at 5 p.m.
The tour will also informative visits to the Misqa Tanks, the Congreve Memorial, and the nearby Ħamrija Tower.
It will end with a lecture on the site's prehistory at the Hagar Qim Park's Visitor Centre.
Curators and experts within the field will be discussing the archaeological remains, surrounding landscape, and natural features of the site.
Tickets are €7 for adults, and €5 for members of Heritage Malta, students, and senior citizens. Children under 12 enter free.
This is one of two events Heritage Malta is organising to mark World Heritage Day, celebrated to raise awareness of World Heritage sites.
The second event is a tour within Mgarr on Sunday at 9 a.m. Temples in an Agricultural Community
The tour will include a visit to two world heritage temple sites, Ta' Hagrat and Skorba, a Heritage Malta exhibition and a visit to a local farm during which participants will have the opportunity to taste local produce.
This tour, led by two Heritage Malta curators and a local from Mgarr, will explore the significance of Mgarr's cultural heritage, from both an archaeological and a local perspective.
Tickets are €5 for adults, and €4 for Heritage Malta members, senior citizens, and students. Children under 16 join for free.
