My father wanted his two dogs neutered and Dogs Trust was at the time the idea in mind, therefore he thought of calling them. They offered the free neutering and to pick up his dogs. Despite the fact that he was offered transport for the dogs, why take the risk that anything could happen to his dogs when he could actually take them himself?

In saying so, I recall a questionable recent incident where Dogs Trust were called to pick up a dog for neutering, during which time the dog managed to escape. The worst part is, that after a couple of days this same dog was found dead.

I disappointedly seek a clear answer from Dogs Trust as to what effective measures were taken to retrieve the lost dog and to what extent anyone should consider the possibility of resorting to the aid of Dogs Trust after the death of this healthy animal?
