3CX, the international telecommunications developer of Windows-based PBX software, and Acunetix, the developer of website security scanning software, has signed a sponsorship deal with Exiles waterpolo club.

The team will compete under the name of 3CX Exiles during the summer competitions.

Leading organisations and international companies such as NASA, the Pentagon, the US Air Force, Danone and Sony use Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner to protect their websites and web applications.

3CX Phone System is used all over the world in companies such as Formula One’s Team Lotus, MIT, Ohio State University, RE/MAX and Nationwide Insurance.

“We are proud to have 3CX and Acunetix as sponsors of our waterpolo team. Both companies are well-established in Malta with an impressive international customer base. This agreement solidifies Exiles’ position as a force to be reckoned with this season and in the coming years,” club president Andrew Paris said.

“We have been developing our club mainly from our youth teams over the past few years and are now reaping the benefits of our policies. The 3CX and Acunetix sponsorship deal has allowed us to secure the clubs’ players on long-term contracts, with two of our national team players – goalkeeper Alan Borg Cole and captain Timmy Sullivan, signing four-year extensions to their contracts. Other players, Julian Rizzo Naudi, David Pace Lupi, Kurt Griscti, Andrew Zarb Cousin and Kayne Lanzon, have also signed new contracts.”

“3CX and its sister company, Acunetix, are proud to sponsor Exiles Sports Club,” said Nick Galea, CEO of 3CX and Acunetix. “We have a long standing presence in Malta and we plan to expand our operations and workforce on the island.”
