I feel I must show my appreciation for the most efficient service I encountered during a recent weekend in Gozo.

On arrival at the Gozo residence, it transpired that there was no water supply following some works carried out in the area. I contacted the mayor of Għarb, David Apap Agius, who took personal interest in the matter to the extent that he came to the area to check about the problem and contacted the authorities concerned in order to remedy the situation.

I feel I must also thank Joe Sultana (security section) who contacted me by phone and promised to see that the problem is solved. Two personnel from the Water Services Corporation later called and remedied the situation. It is opportune to mention that all this happened on a Friday evening.

I must state that I was really impressed by the efficient service offered to consumers in our sister island of Gozo.

Thank you once again to Mr Apap Agius, Mr Sultana and the Water Services Corporation.
