The increase in the price of fuel had come to be a monthly appointment, the Forum Unions Maltin said this evening.

It said in a statement that in three months this year, the fuel rates had gone up three times. This would continue to increase the impact of prices on the cost of living.

The Forum said it expected some form of compensation to make good for the increases. Alternatively, the government could reduce its tax on fuels

It said it expected the government to be proactive in the MCESD meeting on April 13, a meeting, the Forum could not be part of because of the government's exclusion policy.
