A National Centre for Interactive Science is to be developed at Villa Bighi in Kalkara to nurture education and scientific training from a young age.
This National Centre for Interactive Science will comprise more than 4,500 square metres, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said when presenting next year's Budget this evening.
It will serve as a means to introduce an active interest in research and innovation at every age, while the government will encourage students to embark upon a career in science and technology.
The Centre for Interactive Science will offer visitors an exciting experience, completely interactive and educational. There will be exhibits of the best and most recent quality, which will involve active participation to arouse curiosity and innovative thinking.
The National Centre for Interactive Science will also serve as an entertainment and education platform for students, parents and professionals and will expand an interest in science, engineering and technology.
