MFA officials in UEFA boards and committees

During its last meeting held in Lithuania in July, the UEFA Executive Committee appointed the committees for the period 2009/2011.

Several MFA officials were appointed to these committees.

Dr Joe Mifsud, MFA president and UEFA vice-president, was named chairman of Stadia and Security Committees and deputy chairman of the Players' Status, Transfer and Agents and Match Agents Committee.

He was also nominated as one of the four representatives of the UEFA Executive Committee on the Professional Football Strategy Council which is chaired by Michel Platini, the UEFA president.

MFA senior vice-president Carmelo Bartolo will continue in his role as a member of the UEFA Appeals Body, while MFA vice-president Ludovico Micallef, MFA treasurer Alex Manfre and general secretary Joe Gauci were re-appointed members respectively of the Youth and Amateur Football Committee, the Media Committee and the National Associations Committee.
