Archbishop Paul Cremona toured the Gżira primary school, which forms part of St Clare College. This was the first visit there by the head of the Maltese Archdiocese.

Mgr Cremona visited every classroom, spending time speaking to children and even playing with their toys.

To mark the visit and to signify diversity without discrimination, five Year 4 students, two of whom are of a different nationality, gave the Archbishop a framed photo of themselves.

Mgr Cremona was shown around the school by college principal Maria Ciappara, headmaster Joseph Micallef and assistant head Elizabeth Fenech.
