MEPA ends Lija development controversy
Lija council has welcomed a decision by MEPA for buildings at Transfiguration Avenue not to exceed two storeys in height.
It also welcomed the scheduling of historic Villa Gourgion in Main Road as a Grade One building.
There was controversy recently over an application for the building of a block of flats in Transfiguration Avenue, close to the scenic belvedere.
