A concert of sacred music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn was held at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta, which the German promoters described as "the second most beautiful church after the Vatican".

The concert, organised by Terramundi Travel & Incentive GmbH, reached its climax with Mozart's Coronation Mass.

Solo interpreters consisted of leading lyrical singers, including soprano Joan Mangion, mezzo-soprano Connie Frances Zerafa, tenor Charles Vincenti and bass Noel Galea. The Collegium Musicum choir was under the direct of Dion Buhagiar.
