GAMBINA. On August 1, CARMELO (Clo), five days before his 80th birthday, widower of Mary, née Dimech, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Fondly loved and deeply mourned by his children Anna, wife of Ing. Joe Camilleri, Anton and his wife Linda, Capt. Albert Gambina and his wife Astrid, Angela, wife of David Demarco, his nine grandchildren, his nephew, Arch. John Gambina, other nephews, nieces, his in-laws Lilian Gambina, Tessie Dimech, Albert and Mabel Dimech and Josephine Ferry, friends and his Legion of Mary friends at Ta' Xbiex.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta' Xbiex, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (entrance upper gate). Donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated.

ROBERTSON. On June 16, Flt. Lt. DOUGLAS ROBERTSON, CB, of Warren, Michigan, a World War II RAF pilot, beloved husband of the late Connie, née Stagno Navarra, aged 88, went to the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Fondly loved and deeply mourned by his son Kenneth and his wife Kathleen, his daughters Carole Leruth, Gillian and her husband Joe Buttigieg and Deborah and her husband Roger Shuttuck, his dearest brother John and his wife Ivy, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his many relatives and friends in Malta, UK and USA.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow at St Patrick's church, Sliema, where a Mass will be said at 10 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

SCIBERRAS. On August 2, at her residence in Cospicua, MARY of Cospicua, aged 60, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Cetta, widow of Salvu Psaila, Carmen and her husband Natal Grech, Diona and her husband Joseph Bonnici, Bro. Mark Sciberras of the Dominican Community, Twanny, Manuel and Rita and her husband Lino Desira, her nephews and nieces Marthese, Lilian, Josianne, Sandra, Stephanie, Margaret, Raymond, Marygrace, Ernest, Matthew and Jean-Paul, other relatives and friends, among whom all the sisters at St Margherita Convent, Cospicua.
The funeral leaves her residence tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for St Mary's parish church, Ghaxaq, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Ta' L-Erwieh Cemetery, Tarxien.

On August 2, JOSETTE, née Zammit, of Birzebbuga residing at Ta' L-Ibrag, aged 50, went to meet the Risen Lord deeply mourned by her beloved husband Emanuel, her son Dorian and his fiancée Sabrina, her daughter Audrey and her husband Sergio, her mother Tereza, her brother and her sisters and their families, her mother-in-law, her husband's brothers and sisters and their families, relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Birzebbuga parish church followed by interment at St Leo Cemetery, Zurrieq. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated.
