Artists team up to help homeless

Over 30 artists will be exhibiting their works in an open-air art gallery in St George's Square, Valletta on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m.

The gallery is being organised by YMCA Homeless in collaboration with BOV Valletta Live and the aim is to help raise funds in aid of YMCA Homeless.

The YMCA Homeless shelter accommodates over 22 individuals, most of them women and children.

Much of the work is done through the Drop In Centre, which provides social work to people with diverse problems and to the most needy.

YMCA Homeless helps more than 60 individual cases every day.
