Mary Darmanin, a lecturer at the University's Department of Educational Studies, has been awarded the Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Fellowship at the Equality Studies Centre, University College Dublin School of Social Justice.

The fellowship is tenable for three months.

Dr Darmanin will provide expertise in planning specific research programmes on equality themes for the various EWI research clusters.

She will also provide advanced theoretical and methodological training in participative, emancipatory, feminist and transformative methodologies (PEFT) for doctoral students, staff members and civil society scholars.
