Navarro: Valencia defender David Navarro has been banned from playing in all competitions for seven months after FIFA agreed to UEFA's recommendation to extend his punishment to all domestic and international matches. Valencia said that FIFA had notified them of the decision last night.

Titov: Spartak Moscow captain Yegor Titov will miss Russia's Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia for family reasons. The midfielder became the fifth Russian player to pull out of Saturday's Group E match in Tallinn following the withdrawals of goalkeeper Vyacheslav Malafeyev, midfielder Igor Semshov and defenders Alexei Berezutsky and Denis Kolodin through injury and illness.

Klopp: Mainz coach Juergen Klopp is facing a possible sanction after reportedly calling a referee an idiot during Sunday's 2-0 defeat by Werder Bremen. The German FA said it was investigating whether Klopp was guilty of unsporting conduct for making the comment after the referee awarded a free-kick.
