All proceeds raised during McDonald's Malta World Children's Day programme of fund raising activities, which will kick off tomorrow running until Sunday, will go towards the McDonald's Eden Foundation Children's Fund.
On Sunday, McDonald's Malta will contribute Lm1 from every Extra Value Meal sold towards the fund.
A spinning marathon organised at the Hilton LivingWell Health Club will commence the event tomorrow between 7 and 11 a.m., at Cynergi, in St Julians, between 9.30 a.m. and noon and at the 24-hour Ta' Qali Health and Leisure Centre between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
For a donation of Lm2, all participants will avail themselves of a 45-minute session and the use of other facilities in these centres. A football tournament for children under eight years of age will take place in all local nurseries.
Cast members from TV series, including Sfida, Sur Gawdenz and Tista' Tkun Int and children's TV programmes, including Nannu Spagu, as well as Ira Losco will be present at McDonald's outlets on Sunday.
People will have the opportunity of meeting the personalities who will either be signing autographs or working behind the counter in the different outlets.
Ira Losco will also host a concert at Tigulio, St Julians, on Sunday at 7.30 p.m. This will be her last electric set before the release of her unplugged album.
