English to Maltese dictionary online

The First online English to Maltese dictionary has been launched. The Website - http://malta.atspace.com - allows visitors to use its inbuilt dictionary to search for and translate words automatically.

The main advantage of this online dictionary is that results appear immediately as soon as you press 'translate in Maltese' and is designed to seek the nearest word if an exact match is not found.

This project is the result of years of research by Ian Vella, who told The Sunday Times that he is impressed with the number of visitors since mid-October.

The dictionary is also featured on international Websites, such as Wikipedia and word2word.com.
