The Fulbright Senior Specialist Programme provides grants to assist US faculty staff and professionals to collaborate with counterparts at foreign higher education institutions on curriculum and faculty development, institutional planning and a variety of other activities. It is separate from the traditional Fulbright Scholar Programme.

Under the programme grants are awarded for US specialists to spend between two and six weeks at a host institution during any one calendar year. The specialist disciplines eligible under the programme are: American Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology, Business Administration, Communication and Journalism, Economics, Education, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Law, Library Science, Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Public-Global Health, Social Work, Sociology and Urban Planning.

Faculties, centres and institutes that are interested in submitting a request for the services of a US specialist through the programme, and wish the University to consider contributing from its central funds towards the cost of the project, are requested to submit a completed Project Request Form to the International Office to Joe Grech, Assistant Director International Office in Room 215, Administration Building by tomorrow.
