All guest rooms at Palazzo Capua are being upgraded with soft furnishings in line with the Victoria Hotel's current extension and refurbishment project. Once complete, the Victoria Hotel will be in a position to offer customers accommodation in the rich architectural setting of Palazzo Capua.

A number of rooms within the palace are also being refurbished to cater for small private functions, such as dinner and cocktail parties. For larger parties, such as weddings and Christmas functions, customers can book a whole floor within the palace, which offers both inside and outside entertainment facilities.

Speaking about the refurbishment at Palazzo Capua, acting general manager Claire Xuereb said "with the refurbishment in place, Palazzo Capua is set to become an important extension of the hotel's facilities. Thanks to the rich architectural heritage and historical background, events at Palazzo Capua are set to become a unique experience.

Furthermore, the integration of Palazzo Capua with the hotel's facilities will also provide better and more sophisticated entertainment venues at the Victoria Hotel."

Palazzo Capua, an 18th century palace, was originally the residence of Prince Charles of Capua who, after eloping to Gretna Green with Irish heiress Penelope, was exiled from Naples by his brother King Ferdinand II. The palace, built by a Russian architect and originally named Selma Hall, was the residence of the Prince and Princess of Capua for many years.
