Former Culture Club frontman and one of the most highly rated artistes, Boy George, will be among the stars headlining this year's Fresh Master Class Concert.

DJ Tiësto, often tagged as the world's number one deejay, and Sven Väth, known as the Godfather of Techno, will complete the line-up at this dance extravaganza.

Organised by Fresh Music Agency, this year's event will be held on June 29 at the Ta' Qali National Park which has a capacity of 6,000 persons.

This event will be organised in association with DJ Mag, the leading UK dance-related magazine.

Boy George, an icon of the 1980s, will take charge of what will be known as the Sunset Sundays House Arena.

The former Culture Club singer, author of songs like Karma Chameleon and The War Song, has reinvented himself as one of the hottest deejays on the market, and has performed in all top VIP clubs from London to Monte Carlo. During the day he is also a writer and social commentator.

Boy George will be stopping over in Malta after a short break from his acclaimed musical in Broadway called Taboo.

DJ Tiësto will be headlining the Trance Arena, just weeks after his performance in front of 25,000 persons at the Gelredome stadium, in Holland.

His concert consisted of an eight-hour set accompanied by an unprecedented display of the latest technologies in light, sound, laser and video.

The Dutchman has won nearly every award on the dance scene, including Best International DJ at the Dancestar Awards 2003 in the US last March, and winner of Best DJ and Best Dance Act at the TMF awards 2003 last month.

The performance of Sven Väth, who will be headlining the techno arena alongside Malta's top techno deejays, will be part of the Fire Works World Tour.

Originally the lead singer of a dance-pop group named Off, Väth hit the big time in 1987 when the track Electric Salsa raced to the top of the charts all over the world.
