The school council of San Miguel School organised a Family Day for the pupils, parents, relatives and carers of the children attending the school. Also present for the occasion were Michael King, assistant director of education, Special Educational Needs, and Joe Camilleri, president of the school council.

The morning started off with the celebration of Holy Mass, which was followed by a sensory presentation put up by the teachers and kindergarten assistants who work at the school. This presentation reflected the work done with the children throughout the scholastic year. The theme of the presentation was "Seasons".

A small but significant ceremony was held during which Mr King presented five pupils with their school-leaving certificate. There was also some time for guests, staff and parents to mingle and chat, while refreshments were being served.
