Image Systems Ltd recently held a two-day selling skills training course for its sales team. The workshop was directed by Dick Lourenco, a specialised training consultant with Xerox.

Mr Lourenco has been connected with Xerox for the past 30 years and was able to draw on his own experiences within the company, having occupied posts in sales, sales support, marketing, sales management and training management.

The training course was the first in a series of workshops, which will be held both locally and abroad throughout the year. The aim of this training programme is to enhance the selling skills of Image Systems sales executives, so that they will understand better the customer, his business, his market and his requirements for his continued business success. This customer engagement process allows Image Systems to partner with prospective customers in the analysis, development and implementation phases of identified solutions that will improve the customer`s business document process.

These workshops will equip the sales team with the competences required to assist customers in making an informed buying decision regarding their documentation needs.
