CASSAR. On April 21, Vladimir known as Valhmor, aged 70 years, passed away peacefully at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Frances née Vella, his daughter Vanessa and her husband Shawn Camilleri, his granddaughter Ylenia, his brothers and sisters, David and his wife Antionette, Philip and his wife Anne, Catherine and her husband Edward Cassar, Paul and his wife Margaret, his wife’s sister and brothers and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, April 24 at 7am for Qrendi Parish Church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
GRECH. On Easter Sunday, at his residence in Attard, CARMELO (also known as Charles), aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by his wife Josephine, née Zerafa, his children Roseanne, Fr Jes, Chris and George, his grandchildren Bettina, Zak and Pippa, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23, at 3pm at Attard parish church followed by interment at St Andrew’s cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MEILAK. On April 20, RITA, born in Tripoli, residing in Sliema, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Carmelo, her children Giovanna and her husband Luigi, Maria-Assunta and her husband Lorenzo, Giuseppe and his wife Christine, Maria-Grazia and her husband Erich, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her nephews and nieces, her sisters Maria and Caterina, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves on Wednesday, April 24, at 9.15am from St James Hospital, Sliema, for Stella Maris parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SALOMONE. On Sunday April 21, CIKKA née Said passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her father Mario and his wife Liz, her beloved children Nicholas, Michaela and Matthew, her brothers Andrew, Steve and his partner Judith, her partner Antonio, her respective nephews and nieces and her many friends. Mass will be celebrated at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy San Pawl tat-Tarġa on Wednesday, April 24 at 10am. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
