Archbishop Charles Scicluna is on Friday leading the Liturgy of the Lord's Passion at St John’s CoCathedral in Valletta.

In the chanting of the 'Reproaches', the reading of the Passion, and the receiving the pre-consecrated Host, Catholics unite and contemplate on death to sin in the Death of the Lord.

Catholics are joined by almost all other Christians in solemn commemoration on this day, a legal holiday around much of the world.
