On the 10th edition of the Advent Automotive Press Awards, European journalists ranked the international press test-drives of new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV first.

For the past decade, the Advent agency, specialised in measuring influence, has held annual awards for the best test-drive presentation by a car manufacturer. More than 1,000 European journalists were surveyed in order to rank brands’ presentations based on the following criteria: quality of test-drives, logistics, quality of presenters and information, and overall satisfaction.

Organised in November 2018 in Morocco at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the international press test-drives of new C5 Aircross SUV were praised by European journalists as the best among 73 presentations of new models in 2018. 

The press test-drives of new C5 Aircross SUV received top rankings for quality of presenters and information and for logistics and the third place for quality of test-drive (itinerary, length, variety of cars available). These outstanding results highlight the hard work of Citroën’s teams on the general organisation of the event, choice of location, SUV capabilities and comfort of new C5 Aircross SUV.

During three weeks comprising 12 sessions, these international press test-drives gathered 425 journalists from 35 countries. 25 cars with a choice of various configurations were available. Morocco was a bold choice in order to highlight the qualities of the most comfortable SUV of its segment. With more than 300 kilometres of difficult roads, the journalists had the opportunity to strain new C5 Aircross SUV. It was a way to test its exceptional comfort thanks to the suspension with progressive hydraulic cushions and the advanced comfort seats, as well as space on board and modularity, including a best-in-class boot of 580l to 720l and three sliding, tilting and foldable individual rear seats. Its high-end technologies including 20 driver assistance systems.

Presented to the public at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, and launched beginning of January 2019, new C5 Aircross SUV has already taken 20,000 orders. This success confirms its unique appeal while underlining its ability to proudly embody the new high end of the brand.

Representing a new reference of the segment in terms of comfort and modularity and bearing the international ambitions of the brand, this is a whole success for new C5 Aircross SUV.  The new C5 Aircross SUV is on display at the Citroën Showroom, Michael Attard Ltd, Mdina Road, Attard.
