BAYLISS. On February 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, former police sergeant MAURICE BAYLISS of Sliema, aged 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Winnie, his children Martin and his wife Anna, Joyce, Lorraine and her husband Gordon, his grandchildren Odelsie, Denelza, Emil, Marc, Luca and Jake, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, February 18, at 8am, for Balluta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BONELLO. On Wednesday, February 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSIE of Sliema, aged 80, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Adelina, his sons Hadrian and Brian and his wife Sandra, his granddaughters Daniela and Isabella, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 16, at 1.30pm, for Balluta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BORG. On Friday, February 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA (May), née Pisani, widow of Carmelo, residing in Sliema, aged 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Victor and his wife Anna, Anna and her husband Mario Casingena, Christine and her husband Carmelo Zuccarello, Lorraine and her husband Anthony Paris, Stephen and his partner Rita, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families, her sisters and brother, Gladys, widow of George, Joe, widower of Marie Therese, Rosa and her husband Oscar, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, February 18, at 8.15am, for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers Lino and his wife Hilda, Sandro and his wife Sharon, her nephews and nieces JeanClaude and his wife Stephanie, Rebecca, Whitney and Luana, other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Maryanne née Bartolo, his children Natasha and her husband John, Vanessa and her husband Johann, Reuben and his wife Marie Claire, Victoria and her husband Jordan, Charlene and her husband Andrew, his grandchildren Inez, Amy, Kurt, Julian, Norah and Noah, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws and their respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 16, at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Tal-Erwieħ Cemetery, Tarxien. FENECH. On February 15, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, LUCY of Gżira, passed away peacefully at the age of 99, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Joan, sons Godfrey and David, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sister, in-laws, all other relatives and friends. GALEA. On February 14, at Zammit Clapp Home, SALVINA (Sally) of Sliema, passed away peacefully at the age of 85, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Charles and his wife Carol, Josephine and her husband Ruben M. Debono, Catherine Cauchi, her grandchildren Christopher, Claire, Paul, Anne Marie, Nadine and Claudine, their respective spouses and fiancés, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Zammit Clapp Home on Monday, February 18, at 8.30am, for Pembroke parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GAUCI BORDA. On February 13, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, Dr LINO GAUCI BORDA, passed away peacefully, aged 82. He will always be fondly loved and remembered by his wife Louise Anne, née Cauchi Gera, his daughter Annabelle and her husband David, his grandson Benjamin, his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, February 16, at 8am, for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

RUGGIER. On February 13, Sr TARCISIA, passed away peacefully at the age of 94, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Alfred of Canada, widower of Maria, Edgar, widower of Doreen, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, February 16, at 9am, at Our Lady of Loreto parish church, Pietà, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crèche, Sliema, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CRITIEN. In loving memory of FRANK, today the 18th anniversary of his death. Sadly missed by his sons Anton and his wife Geraldine, Fra’John, and his grandsons Peter and Ian. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DELIA. In loving memory of a dearest husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, WALTER, on the sixth anniversary of his passing away. Sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife Marianne, children Suzette, Peter and Nicola and their families. May he rest in peace. GAUCI MAISTRE. In loving memory of Judge Dr AGOSTINO GAUCI MAISTRE, today being the 34th anniversary of his death. Fondly remembered by his sons, in-laws and grandchildren. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

LICARI – TARA MALOU, 15.02.1999-15.02.2019. Happy 20th birthday dearest Tara Malou. Thinking of you always, you are forever in our hearts. Dad, mum, Gabriel, Timothy and Samuel. Those of you who would like to attend, a Mass for the repose of Tara’s soul is going to be held at the Franciscan’s Missionary of Mary Chapel, ex-Stella Maris School, Balzan, tomorrow at 19.30. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

STILON de PIRO. In loving memory of MARIE JOSETTE on the second anniversary of her passing. Deeply missed, forever loved. Always remembered and never forgotten by her husband Dr Mario Stilon de Piro, her daughter Karen and her husband Daniele, her granddaughters Laura and her husband Mark, Sandra and her husband Marc, Jennifer and her husband Charles and Julia and Philippe, her great-grandchildren Christina, Nicholas and Lucas and her carer Rose.
