Agnes Moon’s feel-good romantic comedy The Acrobat (Blood Ties) is being staged by Unifaun Theatre Productions for the first time in Malta this month.

The play, adapted for the stage by Adrian Buckle, follows the rags to riches story of a professional thief who finds himself trapped in the enormous abode of an incredibly rich and mysterious vampire, who is as seductive as he is lethal.

Directed by Stephen Oliver and featuring a stellar cast and crew who hail from Malta, New York, the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Hungary, The Acrobat is an unmissable chance for Maltese audiences to experience a professional stage production of Moon’s enduringly popular tale.

It is suited to a mature audience, as there is plenty of violence, some sex and nudity.

The production will be performed at Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta until February 24. Tickets are available from www.kreattivita.org.
