The Count Roger Band Club of Rabat celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.

The programme of events kicks off on Friday with a concert of Pauline music, Sanctus Paulus Magister, by the Count Roger Philharmonic Band at the Collegiate Proto-Parish Church of St Paul in Rabat at 7.30 p.m.

The band, conducted by its musical director James Chappell, will perform works by Vella, Frisina, Respighi, Ciappara and Chappell. Soprano Charlene Portelli, tenor Christian Abela and baritone Gabriel Farrugia and the Salve Pater Paule choir will also take part.
