BORG. On January 14, at Casa Serena Home, St Paul’s Bay, MARY, née Ferriggi, of Rabat, widow of Sammy, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Paul and his wife Connie and Charlie and his wife Anna, Sylvia, widow of her son Stephen, her grandchildren Marcette and her husband Marco, Bertrand and his wife Tram, Neville and his fiancée Marta, Roderick and his wife Joanna, Dorianne and her husband Manrico, her great-grandchildren Francesca, Liam, Stephianne, Michela, Yan and Cheryl, her siblings, her late husband’s siblings, their families and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Serena today, Wednesday, January 16, at 2.30pm, for St Paul’s parish church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Rabat cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CACHIA. On Monday, January 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, VINCENT, residing in Balzan, widower of Marie Louise, née Sciriha, aged 81, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons David and his wife Stephanie, Mark, his grandchildren Michaela and Benjamin, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, January 17, at 2pm, for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Jesuit Refugee Service, Birkirkara, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GRECH. On January 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, TESSIE, née Cucciardi, of Żabbar, former teacher, Żabbar Primary School, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Graziella and her husband Mark, Elizabeth and her husband Michael, and Michael and his wife Kim, her grandchildren Vanessa, Daniel, Joseph, Kai and Noa, her sisters and brother Felicita, Lina, Sr Luiga of St Margaret’s convent, Cospicua, and Tony, in-laws and their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, January 16, at 2.15pm, for Our Lady of Grace Sanctuary, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SAMMUT. On January 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA, née Grech, of Lija, widow of Carmelo, aged 96 passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children John, widower of Annie, Charles and his wife Helen, Victoria and her husband Charles Bonnici and Jane and her husband Mario Cauchi, her sister Lily, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren their families and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, January 18, at 2.45pm for Our Saviour parish church, Lija where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at Lija cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
