DEBONO. On January 12, Dr GEORGE GREGORY DEBONO, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Paul and his wife Francesca, Aymeric and his wife Amanda, his grandchildren Peter Paul, Simon and Margaux, his partner Marie Cabourdin and her children Marc and Sabine, and his many relatives and friends in Malta, Australia, Canada and United Kingdom. The service will take place at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Valletta, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, at 2pm followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations in George’s memory made to Hospice Malta would be greatly appreciated.
GRECH. On January 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, TESSIE, née Cucciardi, of Żabbar, former teacher, Żabbar Primary School, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Graziella and her husband Mark, Elizabeth and her husband Michael, and Michael and his wife Kim, her grandchildren Vanessa, Daniel, Joseph, Kai, and Noa, her sisters and brother Felicita, Lina, Sr. Luiga of St Margaret’s convent, Cospicua, Tony, in-laws and their respective families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, January 16, at 2.15pm, for Our Lady of Grace Sanctuary, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his loss his nine children, Frans and his wife Anna, Ġużi, Emmanuel and his wife Lucy, Maria and her husband Joe, Carmen and her husband Joe, Victor and his wife Jane, Godwin and his wife Valerie, Polly and her husband Victor, and Tessie and her husband Patrick, his grand-children and great-grandchildren and their families, his brothers, his sister-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, at 2.45pm for Naxxar parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are welcome. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her loss her children Marie and her husband Victor Seguna, Carmen and her husband Philip Thebill, Anna and her husband Karmenu Zammit, Nathalina and her husband Helmuth Atzlinger, Josanne and her husband Hans Pikutzki, John and his wife Marthese, Christine and her husband Robert Attard, her grandchildren Mark, Fr Luke, Victoria Marie, Marius, Michael, Peter Paul, Antonella, David, Tancred, Theresa Marie, Stephanie, Andreas, Matthew, Miguel, Nikolai, Natalia-Marie and their families, her great-grandchildren Isaac, Benji, Darren, Brenda, Luca and Nathan, her sister Antoinette and her husband Lino Cassar, her brothers-in-law Emanuel, Joseph, Frans and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, at 9.30am for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
