The Centre for Ignatian Spirituality is organising the following retreats. For enquiries, e-mail info@mtsjoseph.org or call 2276 0000.

• Edward Warrington and Stephen Scerri are leading ‘Ejja, a day of recollection in the countryside of Gozo’ on January 26. During the event participants will walk together in the Gozitan countryside and stop to reflect about their journey through life – a pilgrimage that leads them home to the Father. Participants will share their food and their fellowship, in the same way that pilgrims do. The walk is not suitable for those whose mobility is limited.

• Fr Gerald Buhagiar will lead a retreat on ‘The Rupnik Icons at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary’ at Manresa House Retreat House, Victoria, from February 15 to 17. Through the rich pictorial language of icons on the parvis of Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary, participants will gain new insights about the mysteries they portray. This year the focus will be on the Annunciation and the Visitation icons.

• Pat Bonello and Stephen Scerri will lead a retreat entitled ‘Journeying towards Interior Freedom’ at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Tarġa Gap, l/o Mosta, from February 22 to 24. During the event, participants will be challenged to discover what their deepest desires for themselves are – those desires that lead to their loving Father.

• Fr Paul Chetcuti SJ will lead a ‘Retreat for families’ at Manresa House Retreat House, Victoria, from February 22 to 24. This is a weekend of prayer and reflection on the beauty of the family and practical ways how to make the relationships within our family more rooted in love and respect. It will include discussions, sharing, prayer, games and walks in the countryside. There will be a separate programme for children.
