MORAN. On November 20, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, Dr VINCENT MORAN of Cospicua, residing at Paola, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his sisters Mary and Rose, his in-law Carmena and her family, his nieces and nephews, Miriam, Carmen, Rita, Lorraine, Sandra, Joanne, Rosette and Thomas, Carmen, Victor, Joe, Ganni, Tessie, Joanne and their respective families, and other close relatives, among whom Dr Salvinu Grixti, Dr Yan Chircop and Marion Chircop. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, November 22, at 9.30am, for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SPITERI MAEMPEL. On November 19, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, CONNIE, widow of John, aged 95, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss, her children Gerard and his wife Karin, Johanna, Nicola and her husband Marcus, her brother Fr John Briffa, SDB, her grandchildren, Francesca and her husband Thomas, Petra and her husband John, Federica and her husband Andrew, Anthea and John, and her great-grandchildren, Max and Xander. The funeral cortège leaves Casa Antonia today, Wednesday, November 21, at 2pm, for the parish church of the Annunciation, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.15pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Salesians of Don Bosco, Sliema, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank nurses, carers and staff of Casa Antonia for their care and support over the last years.
STUART – JANE. Passed away peacefully in her afternoon rest on Monday, November 19. She was much loved and will be missed by her children Charlotte and Ben, their families and her many friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24, at 3pm, at Għargħur parish church, followed by private interment at the Għargħur cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Heartfelt thanks to Hospice Malta, Balzan, and Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre for their exceptional care. Donations to Hospice Malta would be greatly appreciated.
