Fire trucks sped to Swieqi on Saturday afternoon following reports of a fire inside a garage on Triq l-Għarbiel. 

The fire, reported shortly before 1pm, was controlled by members of the Civil Protection Department in about an hour.

According to unconfirmed reports, two people were slightly injured in the incident.
